The founder of subSine academy, Simon Stokes is Scotland’s only Ableton Certified Trainer, chosen by Ableton as one of the very best trainers in the world, and a highly accomplished music producer.

As a professional musician under his Petrichor alias, he has released on record labels worldwide including legendary techno label Soma Records and has released two critically acclaimed albums  – Mångata (2015) and in Narisshu (2019), picking up awards such as Mixmag’s Album of the Month.

In the studio, Simon works with a wide range of artists as a producer, mixing engineer and mastering engineer. His studio work has launched and maintained many careers.

He has gained international touring experience as a DJ and live act under his Petrichor alias.
