Sending an Ableton Live Project
When you’re ready, please submit your project below. In short, you need to follow these steps:
- If a track in your project has a 3rd party plugin on it (such as a synth or effect that you have purchased):
- right click on the track name and select ‘Freeze’. This will ensure we hear the track as you do in your studio.
- where possible, please ensure you are using VST versions of any plugins (and not AudioUnits) – VST is cross-compatible between Mac and PC and AudioUnits are not. This means we may be able to Unfreeze the track if we have the plugin here.
- Now go to File -> Save Live Set As… and save it onto your desktop.
- Now go to File -> Collect All & Save.
- Tick ‘Yes’ to the top three options in the popup window
- Right click on the project folder on your desktop (not the .als file, the entire folder)
- On Windows select Compress to Zip File
- On Mac select Compress
You will now have a .zip file on your desktop, which you can upload below.
Sending Stems
- Please ensure your stems are named correctly and as organised as possible to make it easy to bring them into a new project.
- Ensure they are at least 48khz, 24-bit WAV files where possible
- If you have MIDI parts for any of the musical elements, please also include these
- Right click on the folder of stems and:
- on Windows select Compress to Zip File
- on Mac select Compress
- Upload the .zip file below
Thanks,
