Thank you for purchasing a Mentor Session.

Please submit your project here at least 24 hours before your session if possible. This unique opportunity will see you upload your project, have it analysed by an industry professional and then schedule a 45 minute video call where you can ask questions, find out how to improve your track and learn techniques relevant to your style of music.

What We’ll Cover

The session is yours to choose what you’d like to cover! Generally, you’ll learn things such as:

  • what’s working in your track
  • where you could improve the musical ideas / beats
  • things you could fix in the mixdown
  • what a label might be looking for you to tweak

You’ll also receive back an updated project and a recording of the call to watch again later. Please fill in the form below to submit your project.

Preparing Your Project

When you’re ready, please submit your project using the process described below. In short, please follow these steps:

  1. If a track in your project has a 3rd party plugin on it (such as a synth or effect that you have purchased):
    • Please ensure you are using VST versions of any plugins (and not AudioUnits) – VST is cross-compatible between Mac and PC and AudioUnits are not.
    • right click on the track name and select ‘Freeze’. This will ensure we hear the track as you do in your studio, even if we don’t have the plugin you’re using.
  2. Now go to File -> Save Live Set As… and save it onto your desktop.
  3. Now go to File -> Collect All & Save.
  4. Tick ‘Yes’ to the top three options in the popup window
  5. Right click on the project folder on your desktop (not the .als file, the entire folder)
    • On Windows, select Compress to Zip File
    • On Mac select Compress

You will now have a .zip file on your desktop, which you can upload below.
